Sheba is a Shepherd/Ridgeback mix born in 2006. Lively and full of fun, this happy girl is always ready for a walk, jog, run, or meal. She's got a true love for life and, although initially she can be uneasy around strangers, it doesn't take long for her guard to come down. Food is the fastest way to Sheba's heart. Because she is definitely overly enthusiastic when it comes to eating, this voracious lady will need a few courses in how not to be greedy. She has a tendency to guard her food bowl and treats, savoring them for long periods of time and doing her best to ensure that no person or animal comes near as she feasts. However, this focus can be easily addressed by an experienced owner. In every other way, Sheba is the perfect dog. She's extremely sociable and tries her best to please. With her tail constantly wagging, she is genuinely thrilled when someone she recognizes even looks her way. Sheba's perfect home would include owners, with or without dog savvy older kids, who have dealt with food guarding issues in the past. In addition to her human family, Sheba has the potential to do well in a household with other dogs and cats, as long as mealtimes are well orchestrated.
