American Staffordshire Terrier - Foxy - Medium - Senior - Female
Born in 2002, Foxy is a spayed Am Staff terrier mix. This gorgeous lady, with her calm, expressive nature, will wait patiently for her turn to be taken out for a walk, given a treat, or share in some loving. She'll sit quietly staring straight ahead and, as you approach, her tail slowly begins to thump. As you get closer, her body starts to quiver and, once the leash appears... that's it! She's on top of you!
She knows how to "sit" and "stay", enjoys car rides and balls, and hasn't had the pleasure of many experiences outside her previous owners' front door. Foxy's exposure to children and other dogs has been very limited. From what we've seen, she seems genuinely enthralled and excited by new experiences with human friends, This sweet, sedate lady would make the perfect pet for a family looking for the best of all worlds- a loyal lap dog, an active hiking partner, and a loving companion.
